WHAT IS THE SKINNY COFFEE CLUB DIET?

Skinny Coffee Club is a weight-loss plan that claims to produce noticeable results in just one week. This diet relies on a ‘clinically-formulated’ coffee blend to help dieters slim down. Benefits of this drink include increased energy, enhanced stamina, healthier skin, and a more youthful appearance. While this plan does not require exercise, Skinny Coffee Club highly-recommends it.

Skinny Coffee Club Ingredients and Side Effects

Organic Green Coffee Beans:

Unroasted coffee beans containing a higher-than-average amount of chlorogenic acid. Possible side effects include restlessness, insomnia, upset stomach, diarrhea, irregular breathing, increased heart rate, agitation, anxiety, mood swings, headaches, and cardiovascular problems. The FTC takes issue with companies claiming this ingredient leads to weight loss. They consider it to be a ‘phony’ and unproven additive.

Chlorogenic Green Coffee Bean Extract:

An extract of coffee which supposedly reduces carbohydrates. Examine.com says, ““That is insofar correlation and not necessarily due to chlorogenic acid.” The FTC brings suits against companies that claim this ingredient has weight-loss benefits.

Siberian Ginseng:

A plant extract used to improve your body’s ability to manage stress. Studies have mixed conclusions about this ingredient’s overall effectiveness. Overuse of this ingredient can lead to the following: confusion, nosebleeds, headaches, vomiting, nausea, irregular heartbeat, hormone changes, high blood pressure, and hormone changes.

Chlorella:

An algae added to food for its high amount of B12, protein, fat, and carbohydrates. It can lead to serious allergic reactions in some individuals. Typical side effects include diarrhea, cramping, discolored stools, rashes, and breathing problems. Furthermore, due to water contamination in some parts of the world, this product can be chock-full of lead and mercury.

Matcha Powder:

A highly-processed form of green tea said to be a great antioxidant. Due to high amounts of caffeine, this ingredient can lead to swelling, headaches, and restlessness.

Spirulina:

A blue-green algae used to decrease liver fat and regulate blood sugar. Web MD confirms, when processed incorrectly, that this ingredient can contain ““Liver-damaging substance called microcystin, toxic metals, and harmful bacteria.”. Possible side effects of spirulina include liver damage, dehydration, muscle pain, rapid heartbeat, and death.

Wheatgrass:

A sub-species of grass added to many foods for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. WebMD cautions that “Not enough is known about the safety of long-term use of wheatgrass as medicine.”

Organic Brazilian Coffee:

Coffee from one of Brazil’s largest distributors. This ingredient contains high amounts of caffeine. Because of that, its use can lead to anxiety, irregular heartbeat, vomiting, and tinnitus.

Skinny Coffee Club Quality Of Ingredients

The company never mentions the amount of caffeine in their drinks. Considering that four ingredients are known to be caffeine-heavy, this is an alarming oversight. We advise caffeine-sensitive dieters to skip this diet entirely.

In addition to potentially dangerous levels of caffeine, Skinny Coffee contains spirulina and chlorella. These algae are particularly prone to contamination. A lack of information about the company’s safe-handling procedures makes us even more reluctant to recommend this diet.

Finally, there’s Siberian ginseng and wheat grass. Both ingredients are black-boxes of potential long-term side effects. While they may be all-natural, they’re certainly not well-studied.

In short, Skinny Coffee Club gives us far more questions than answers. Due to a lack of information, and a higher-than-average amount of questionable ingredients, DIETSiTRIED gives this diet a POOR rating on the quality scale.

The Price and Quality of Skinny Coffee Club

Skinny Coffee Club offers a 28-day, 8-week, and 12-week program. A 12-week supply of the product sells for £59.95 ($77.88). A bit of math, and an assumption of one use a day, leads to an average daily cost of $2.78. While the coffee itself is cheap, its potential cost to your body is high.

Customer Opinions of Skinny Coffee Club

It’s impossible to find reviews of Skinny Coffee outside of the company website. The company makes use of Instagram stars to help advertise its products. The lack of unbiased reviews makes it difficult to determine the product’s overall effectiveness.

Conclusion – Does Skinny Coffee Club Work?

Before deciding to brew a cup of Skinny Coffee, you need to know what’s in it. Four of the product’s ingredients are known to contain high amounts of caffeine. Furthermore, many of the other additives, such as chlorella and spirulina, are known to be unsafe. While caffeine may drive temporary weight loss, the human body quickly builds a tolerance to it. So, before long, you’ll be losing nothing but shut-eye.
