WHAT IS THE SKINNY FIBER DIET?

A weight-loss pill formulated to suppress appetite, Skinny Fiber supposedly boosts your overall health. It relies on two separate formulas to aid digestion and boost nutrient absorption. This weight-loss supplement also contains fiber, digestive enzymes, and antioxidants.

Skinny Fiber’s creators took down its official website ages ago. A quick Google search, however, takes you to a full ingredients’ list with plenty of brand-specific information. In our comprehensive review, you’ll learn just what to expect from Skinny Fiber.

THE COMPONENTS AND SIDE EFFECTS OF SKINNY FIBER

Glucomannan Powder:

A fiber derived from the konjac plant. It’s often used as an appetite suppressant and blood sugar stabilizer. Side effects include throat blockage, diarrhea, bloating, nausea, vomiting, and lowered blood sugar. Although often used for dieting, the FTC advises against it. Researchers at Rush University found zero links between glucomannan and weight loss.

Caralluma Fimbriata Powder:

Powdered derivatives of an Indian cactus found in India used to suppress the appetite. Multiple studies linked this ingredient to gas, constipation, nausea, and stomach pain.

Cha De Bugre Powder:

A tree extract that helps suppress appetite. No evidence exists to prove this ingredient’s effectiveness. Web MD cautions that no scientific evidence links this ingredient to long-term weight loss. Furthermore, they express concerns about its overall safety.

Papain Powder:

An extract derived from papaya renowned for its ability to digest protein. Web MD believes this ingredient to be “possibly unsafe.”

Bromelain Powder:

An enzyme extracted from the pineapple used to improve digestion and fight off inflammation. It does, however, have side effects, such as diarrhea, nausea, digestive issues, swelling, difficulty breathing, and allergic reactions.

THE QUALITY OF SKINNY FIBER

Various studies concluded that its key active ingredients do little to promote weight loss. Some of its other ingredients, including papain and bromelain, have been linked to serious side effects.

The Price and Quality of Skinny Fiber

You can pick up a 30-day supply for $39.99 on Amazon. For $1.33 per day, you’re getting nothing but a grab bag of useless ingredients and digestive enzymes.

Skinny Fiber does not provide any information about a return policy

BUSINESS OF SKINNY FIBER

Master Strategies owns and manufacturers Skinny Fiber. You can reach them by:

Phone: (855) 437-4638

Snail Mail: Windermere, Florida 34786

As the company is a multilevel marketing firm, their knowledge of nutrition is quite limited. A variety of people, many untrained, serve as salesmen for this brand. It’s also unclear who owns the original formula. This confusion is so great, in fact, that one maker of Skinny Fiber opened a lawsuit against another.

Consumers at the Better Business Bureau gave Skinny Fiber an F-Rating. The company now has 14 complaints leveled against it, including:

“Product not received after payment made.”

“Skinny Fiber is a disgrace. I can’t believe how incredibly useless and sorry their customer support is.”

“Company did not honor their refund as stated in their e-mail.”

Most complaints centered around Master Strategies’ tendency to ignore refund-related questions. Their customer service and shoddy delivery practices also earned a few negative comments.

WHAT DO CUSTOMERS THINK OF SKINNY FIBER?

Roughly 40 percent of the reviewers on Amazon rated this product one star (and many wish they could have scored it lower). Here’s what some dissatisfied customers had to say:

“I am having health issues since I started taking skinny fiber.”

“I didn’t lose anything at all. been off it for about 4 months now and everything I eat makes me sick and I feel like I’m going to explode.”

“Very disappointed in this product.”

“This did absolutely nothing for me. I feel that it was a rip-off. Don’t waste your money buying Skinny Fiber.”

As its salesmen work on commission, most positive reviews of this product should be questioned. Furthermore, nearly all websites that sell the product are nothing but cheap recruitment schemes.

WILL SKINNY FIBER WORK FOR YOU?

You need to do a little research before picking up a bottle of Skinny Fiber. While the manufacturer only uses all-natural ingredients, the items selected are not proven weight loss aids. Furthermore, most customer reviews are negative (or paid for by the company).

With poor customer support and lackluster results, we believe there are better diet pills out there. So, don’t buy into the commission hype! Avoid Skinny Fiber!
